Ching Chingggg - getting paid over here.

The word Chain, freaks me out. No lies, it seems like an endless pattern of boring foreverness. That’s just my instant thought.. but recently, after flicking through pictures of my outfits, I've realised, I do love a good old Gold chain. Rustic, fakey, heavy, thin, complicated, tarnished. You know it.

So I’m going to let you into my secret, about 3 years or more ago, me and my friend Gem, started to visit my local charity shop,  its dead cheap and connected to a church, so yano all the money is going to a good place. And it’s called ‘Discoveries’ and boy did we discover!! Haha. For the past few years I haven’t spend moneyyyyy in this little place. Chains, one of the best places to find them is in Charity Shops! Or raid you Gran’s old jewellery collection (ask her what’s the inexpensive stuff though).

Anyway, I have routed through a couple websites online, and found these bad boys. But if your skint/just wanna buy loads. Ebay is GREAT. I took a screenshot of my search earlier, and they were the first ones that came up! You could look for ages and get some real beauties.

ANYWAY, without further ado ..

Chucked in that ring as well.. had to be done, somone HAS to buy it.

Bow Ties? Kneck Ribbons?

Bow Ties? Kneck Ribbons?

So a few of my friends introduced this unique fashion trend to me, and I have been slowly using it, but as I’ve been stalking pinterest, I’ve began to become obsessed!! It’s Bow ties for girls, even if it is just a cute ribbon tied in a bow around the neck, it makes the outfit look all that more unique and adds a twist. Now before you shut me down, check these really cute pictures!

I realise a lot of them are going for the androgynous look, but I think that it is really different and can make an outfit complete. It brings a stylish unique edge! If you’re struggling to come to terms with the bow tie, start with a neck tie, they are easy and can go with a lot, just tucked under a chiffon shirt collar or a dress with a collar. Try it!

Here is a simple inexpensive neck tie, to start your obsession..

I think of the most underappreciated facial parts has to be the eyebrows. Sounds crazy, I know. But I really think eyebrows can make a huge difference to your overall appearance.

Personally, I got errr'now and then to this woman in town that threads my eyebrows because they just look so PERFECT after being threaded, and I just keep them to the shape she makes them (she only charges like £5 so I don’t think that is that much for once a month or less). So yesss.. I highly recommend that 5 minutes of minute pain to get perfect eyebrows! Now if you are like me, you went through a stage mid-teens where you decided to pluck like alllll your eyebrows off? I don't know why I ever thought that was cool! But it is way more in fashion now to have bigger eyebrows. I managed to grow mine back, but if you can't you have eyebrow pencils, semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo's or if you have lots of money can get hair transferred from your head to eyebrows!! But anyway, most of you can probably grow your eyebrows and pencil the gaps.. so here are my favourite eyebrow shapes!

(I think consistently you can see that there is a not a huge contrast in difference in size between the start and finish of the eyebrow, and there isn't a sharp angle in the eyebrow either which is nice. You have to suit it to your bones on your face, but getting this right really compliments your eyes!)

And for those brave souls, here is a tutorial from youtube on threading your own eyebrows!

Enjoy. I taught myself too.

Personally I think Leggins can be modest, and here you can see that all the girls have opted for a big top that doesnt just meet the top of the leggins, this way you don't get camel toe and you look modest! If you opt for a baggier top half it equals out the look, and you don't end up like a seductive cat woman - you look stylish and fun! So be careful what you add to your leggins but still, they are a fun thing to work with.

MY Secret..

MY Secret..

Recently I uploaded a picture of my so far progress.. 2 years and 2 weeks ago. I have lost a fair bit of weight, grown into my body etc. After I did this, I had multiple people ask…. "What's your secret?" ..
This upsets me that so many people are still so oblivious. Ever since a wee one It's been apparent that you ARE what YOU eat, and fitness is an important thing in life, you should get blah blah amounts of exercise every day. So Daddy takes you down to play some tennis, and mum signs you up to gymnastics. When you hit teenage years, you slack, want to spend time with your friends instead and fight against being part of any Karate class, Gym class etc. (Unless your a sensible and wise one). But me .. I just wanted to play with my friends and my excuse was I had bounced on the trampoline for 10 minutes..

Then you hit the older teenage years, young adulthood and people become mums, and they look for a cheat way.. they start to get excited when a pop up comes up on the internet claiming they have the way too loose weight fast. A new diet pill, a shake plan and so on. I'm not saying shakes don't work.. but do you want to be on them for the rest of your life? Because I love food WAYYY to much.

Now me.. I still eat that brownie for desert at the restaurant etc.. I don't want to live a life of no puddings and no chocolate at Christmas. But let me tell you NO ONE HAS EVER LIED. If you do you exercise and cut out eating so much crap and eat less you will be the weight you want. So to stat me off and loose weight FAST (which btw doesn't stay off you motivate yourself and really cut out so much). I first did the "Eat Your Heart Out Diet" Which I will attach, to cut mu cravings, and then I cut out ALL Dairy for a week.. yes it may have helped that I thought I was Lactose Intolerant. But I lost nearly a stone in 3 weeks! So if you have a few extra pounds you want to loose before maintaing your beautiful body, I advise you to just try for a month to cut out all dairy, substitute it for soya and treat yourself now and again, and then GET YO BUTT TO THE GYM. Sweat it out, and replace that sweat with water. I promise results.

"Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."

The following incident took place when Muhammad Ali's daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were not modest. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:

When we finally arrived, the chauffeur escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day.

My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get to them."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too." Source: Taken from the book: More Than A Hero: Muhammad Ali's Life Lessons Through His Daughter's Eyes.
